A few important dates:
- After school activities start in Week 4 this year
- Open Evening will be Thursday 20th August, 3 - 5pm
- 5McA goes to Mikumi on Sunday, 30th August to Wednesday, 2nd September. We'll have a parent information session directly after Open Evening on 20th August, 5 -5.30pm
- Our class bake sale will be on Friday 14th August. We hope to raise funds to pay for dinner for our buddies from Mikumi Village School, as well as buy some equipment for the school.
Remember grade 5 students may take 10 books out from the library and here is a note from Ms Karen the librarian.
- Grade 5 comes to the library every second week to change books. We have an additional regular library time with the teacher-librarian once every 2 weeks. This may include library skills and research and activities related to the ongoing units.
- Students are asked to bring their books back and forth in a school library bag (available at the IST School Store) or a water-proof substitute.
- Students may have up to 10 books checked out at a time.
- The library is open before and after school, and during breaks, for students and parents.
- There are no overdue fines. We regularly send overdue emails to homes and homerooms.
