A man walked in slowly toward Lily and Anna. Lily and Anna are twins. They both have peach blond hair and it is long and flowy. They live in a small house on 5th Avenue, New York. . “Hello,” a voice whispered in a deep scary tone. “He He Hello, ”mumbled Anna. “Who are you and why are you here?” Lily shouted. “This is for you,”whispered the man. His voice seemed to echo through the whole house. Anna and Lily were terrified by the man, They did not know what to do. The man in the black uniform and hoodie left the house and the door slammed behind him. “What was that?” said Anna, “I don’t know!!” The girls did not know what to do. First there was a strange man in their house, then the man left a weird bag right in the middle of their living room! The girls really wanted to open the bag but they were really scared and they were also really suspicious because they did not see the strange man’s face because it was covered by a hoody. The girls sat down in front of the bag and started to fall asleep. Anna woke up and realized something, something weird. “THE BAG IS GONE!”yelled Anna. Lily jumped up and started running around the house. Lily did not realize the bag was gone. She thought Anna wanted to play a game or something. “ What! the bag is gone? You mean that bag that that weird man dropped off here last night?” “Yes that bag!” The girls looked all over the house and they could not find the bag. They looked everywhere but one place……..The attic! “I am not going up there!” “Well neither am I!!”said Anna. “Ok, Then I guess we will never know what’s in that bag!” said Lily. Anna stomped up the stairs and stopped to realize that it was her’s and Lily’s birthday that very day!. She ran downstairs to tell Lily about it. Lily was so surprised. They were so overwhelmed by that man who came into their house that they did not realize that it was their birthday. They decided to take the chance and go up in the attic to see if the bag was there. When they got to the top of the stairs they said they would go up together. “Will you go with me?” Anna said in a terrified voice. “ Oh oh ok,” Lily mumbled. They pulled the ladder down and walked up the ladder. They got to the top of the ladder and opened the door……. “SURPRISE!!!!” The whole room shouted out loud and the two girls were so surprised. They don’t even know how they had set the party up! “How did you guys get this party set up?” “We used the bag!” “I was the man that walked into your house last night!!” “You mean you Josh, you were the man?” “ Yes!! We wanted to have a surprize party for you two. Oh, and yes I was that man!!” “You guys are the best friends and was that whole party really in the bag??!” “Yes and I was the one who put all the stuff in the bag and that is why we can have our memories and we can call it the…..THE PARTY BAG!” smiled Josh. In celebration of World Languages Week we watched, " If The World Was a Village." We looked carefully at the data and make some percentage circle graphs! What are your thoughts? Why is Portuguese such a widely spoken language? What about French? Why is that not so widely spoken? Look at the video and make a comment about something new you found out! Look at Carter's percentage circle graph of main languages spoken in the world. Does anything surprise you? My eggs, my beautiful eggs were about to hatch and soon I would be a mother. I couldn't get that wonderful thought out of my head. But suddenly two strange creatures walked up to me looking scared, I could hear their muttering. “ Is it real?” “ I think it is.” “ Let's take a closer look.”, “ Ok.” One of the creatures, the bigger one edged towards me with a stick. A sharp stick. And stuck it into my tail. The pain was so that it made me roar with pain and start running at the intruders telling them to back off. They did so screaming and yelling back through the trees. I walked back to my nest to check if my babies were hatching. But when I got back to my nest I found something else already there . . . The two small creatures were back and they were looking at my eggs with wonder in their eyes. I decided to watch them very closely but if they made one more wrong move then they would feel how hot a fire actually was! I sat down next to my nest and the creatures hesitated. But they relaxed as they saw me nose one of my eggs hopefully trying to get it to hatch. I don't know how long we sat there in the woods, but suddenly one of the creatures stood up. It told the other one, the smaller one, “ Tom, mum expects us home in ten minutes. We’d better go.” “ Ok, one second,” said the smaller one and with that he kissed each of my eggs lovingly and hugged my long neck before running with the other creature back through the woods to the town that lay beyond. I will never forget that small creature who loved me and my eggs so dearly. The very next day, the eggs hatched and I was a mother to seven little dinosaurs! Wait sir, can I bring the kids or else they will be alone?” Manson said. “Sure, but try not to let them get into trouble. By the way Manson you are leaving tomorrow.” “OK James!” “Don’t call me that,” James said. The next day Manson left with Anderson, Felix and Alex. They drove in a black SUV to the airfield where they met a helicopter pilot named Frigo. “Hey!” Frigo said,”ya name Manson?” “Yes Frigo, I am Manson.” “OK,” Frigo said,”my English not so good.” Frigo flew the helicopter and landed at Falco Maxime, the headquarters for research about dinosaurs. When Frigo landed the helicopter, guards with guns that could fire electricity appeared. Manson and his family walked into the building where they were met by a random person, who said they needed to follow him. They walked outside where there were five jeeps waiting for them. Manson, Anderson, Felix and Alex all got in the middle jeep and the other four jeeps were filled with armed guards. They were going on a dirt road when suddenly they stopped! The driver told them to get out of the jeep. Alex and Felix both ran and then Manson and Anderson saw why they were running. Sitting by a tree was a dinosaur and Alex and Felix were looking at its eggs. Do you know the steps required to make a jam sandwich or put up a tent?
